Ses performances vont au-del&agrave; des sp&eacute;cifications radio Cable Labs DOCSIS 3.0.<br \/>\nCette solution extensible &agrave; fort niveau d&rsquo;int&eacute;gration offre aux c&acirc;blo-op&eacute;rateurs la bande passante n&eacute;cessaire aux services &agrave; venir, tout en r&eacute;duisant d&egrave;s maintenant les co&ucirc;ts d&rsquo;investissement et d&rsquo;exploitation. Un seul port radio g&eacute;r&eacute; par ce chipset remplace plusieurs d&eacute;codeurs &agrave; modulateur QAM utilis&eacute;s pour fournir &agrave; un abonn&eacute; les services de t&eacute;l&eacute;vision, d&rsquo;internet haut-d&eacute;bit et de voix sur IP, ainsi que des services de vid&eacute;o &agrave; la demande VOD, de vid&eacute;o num&eacute;rique commut&eacute;e, ou de t&eacute;l&eacute;vision IP interactive &agrave; venir. Le modulateur synth&eacute;tise jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 128 canaux QAM sur tout le spectre 50 MHz &agrave; 1 GHz du c&acirc;ble en aval. Les c&acirc;blo-op&eacute;rateurs peuvent d&eacute;sormais fournir tout leur contenu haut-d&eacute;bit sur un seul port radio, pour tout un groupe de services par c&acirc;ble. Le DUC est une solution extensible et &eacute;volutive par logiciel qui permet d&rsquo;ajouter de la capacit&eacute; sans modifier le mat&eacute;riel existant. Le CNA radio fournit la vitesse de conversion et la performance dynamique n&eacute;cessaires &agrave; la modulation haut-d&eacute;bit au-del&agrave; des strictes exigences radio DOCSIS 3.0.<br \/>\nJeff Heynen, Analyste de tendances chez Infonetics, d&eacute;clare : &quot;La consommation de donn&eacute;es va continuer d&rsquo;augmenter de 40% &agrave; 50% par an. Cela va n&eacute;cessiter encore plus de capacit&eacute; descendante et montante que pr&eacute;vu auparavant pour maintenir un bon confort d&rsquo;utilisation. Une chose est certaine: chaque port radio physique, que ce soit sur un CMTS ou un Edge QAM, va devoir supporter un nombre croissant exponentiellement de canaux QAM par rapport aux plateformes de g&eacute;n&eacute;ration actuelle.
