La diode id&eacute;ale, avec un circuit d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e robuste, prot&egrave;ge la charge contre une inversion de tension jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; -40 V et maintient la tension de sortie pendant une microcoupure en entr&eacute;e. Lors de la survenue d&rsquo;une surtension en entr&eacute;e, comme lors d&rsquo;une rupture de charge dans les circuits en automobile, ce composant fait chuter l&rsquo;exc&egrave;s de tension dans le MOSFET externe tout en r&eacute;gulant la tension de sortie &agrave; une valeur de s&eacute;curit&eacute; r&eacute;glable. Ceci permet l&rsquo;emploi de circuits&nbsp;&eacute;lectroniques, en aval, de tensions plus faibles. De m&ecirc;me, en cas de surintensit&eacute;, il r&eacute;gule le courant direct jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; une intensit&eacute; limite fix&eacute;e par une r&eacute;sistance de d&eacute;tection de courant. En cas de surtensions et de surintensit&eacute;s persistantes, une fonction de temporisation, asservie &agrave; la valeur de Vds avec indication d&rsquo;alarme pr&eacute;coce, assure un arr&ecirc;t en s&eacute;curit&eacute; du MOSFET.<br \/>\nSa large gamme de tensions de fonctionnement permet d&rsquo;assurer le fonctionnement de l&rsquo;&eacute;lectronique automobile, en cas de d&eacute;marrage &agrave; froid, quand la tension de batterie peut tomber &agrave; 4 V. Par un simple circuit de fixation de niveau de la tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, le composant peut supporter des surtensions de plus de 100 V et m&ecirc;me r&eacute;sister &agrave; -20 V en sortie. Enfin, l&rsquo;ensemble des fonctions de blocage par diode et de limitation des surintensit&eacute;s est un dispositif complet pour la protection des ports de sortie. Les seuils r&eacute;glables de sous-tension et de surtension en entr&eacute;e bloquent le d&eacute;marrage pour les tensions hors de la gamme, ce qui &eacute;vite une d&eacute;charge importante des batteries et un essai de red&eacute;marrage automatique en cas de dysfonctionnement. Un faible courant de fonctionnement de 370 &micro;A et un courant d&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t de seulement 10 &micro;A prolongent l&rsquo;autonomie de la batterie. On peut &eacute;galement utiliser ce circuit pour contr&ocirc;ler les courants d&rsquo;appel d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e, apportant les possibilit&eacute;s d&rsquo;un contr&ocirc;leur HotSwap.<br \/>\nCe produit est d&eacute;clin&eacute; en deux versions. Apr&egrave;s un dysfonctionnement, le LTC4364-1 verrouille &agrave; l&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t&nbsp;le transistor ballast, tandis que le LTC4364-2 autorise un essai de red&eacute;marrage automatique avec un rapport cyclique de 0,1%. Sp&eacute;cifi&eacute; pour les gammes de temp&eacute;ratures commerciales, industrielles et de l&rsquo;automobile, ces deux versions sont pr&eacute;sent&eacute;es en bo&icirc;tiers DFN 14&nbsp;broches de 4 x 3 mm, MSOP et SO de 16 broches.
