Ce dispositif fonctionne &agrave; partir d&rsquo;une source 3.3 V, avec des niveaux d&rsquo;E\/S configurables entre 1.8 V et 3.3 V, pour une consommation d&rsquo;environ 78 mA &agrave; pleine charge, ou de moins de 200 &micro;A en mode veille. La m&eacute;moire RAM rapide 24 ko int&eacute;gr&eacute;e assure le transfert et la mise en m&eacute;moire tampon des donn&eacute;es. L&rsquo;interface multiplex&eacute;e autorise l&rsquo;interconnexion au niveau carte par l&rsquo;interm&eacute;diaire d&rsquo;un bus 16 bits classique, ou d&rsquo;interfaces NOR ou SRAM, tout en r&eacute;duisant au maximum le nombre de broches au niveau de la puce.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal\">Gr&acirc;ce &agrave; sa fonctionnalit&eacute; d&rsquo;acc&egrave;s m&eacute;moire direct DMA, ce circuit peut facilement &ecirc;tre combin&eacute; au microcontr&ocirc;leur du syst&egrave;me pour am&eacute;liorer la connectivit&eacute; et, ainsi, accro&icirc;tre le taux de transfert de donn&eacute;es. Par exemple, un d&eacute;codeur TV pourra &ecirc;tre dot&eacute; d&rsquo;une fonctionnalit&eacute; sans-fil, en y raccordant un adaptateur r&eacute;seau sans-fil USB par son interm&eacute;diaire. Le port aval du circuit peut &ecirc;tre configur&eacute; pour offrir une solution de charge USB optimis&eacute;e en fonction du produit final, avec le choix entre un port de recharge aval CDP et un port de recharge d&eacute;di&eacute; DCP,&nbsp; en conformit&eacute; avec la sp&eacute;cification Rev. 1.2 pour la charge des batteries.
