Il fonctionne avec des tensions d&rsquo;alimentation de 2 V &agrave; 50 V, ce qui convient aux ports USB de forte puissance, &agrave; l&rsquo;alimentation sur Ethernet PoE, &agrave; l&rsquo;instrumentation d&eacute;port&eacute;e et aux applications industrielles d&eacute;port&eacute;es. Ce compensateur permet des &eacute;conomies de co&ucirc;t en &eacute;vitant la m&eacute;thode de mesure quatre fils g&eacute;n&eacute;rant de mauvaises connexions et rend la r&eacute;gulation au niveau de la charge ind&eacute;pendante de la taille et de la longueur des fils.<br \/>\nSon fonctionnement consiste &agrave; mesurer l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; dans la charge avec une r&eacute;sistance de mesure et d&rsquo;injecter un courant dans la boucle de retour du r&eacute;gulateur pour &eacute;lever la tension de sortie. Il est con&ccedil;u pour fonctionner avec des circuits de retour standard aussi bien qu&rsquo;avec des composants r&eacute;f&eacute;rences de &quot;source de courant&quot; comme le LT3080. Pour les intensit&eacute;s de charge inf&eacute;rieures &agrave; 3 A, la r&eacute;sistance interne de mesure de courant de 20 mohms simplifie la conception. Une large bande passante permet d&rsquo;assurer la compensation des transitoires furtifs lors des variations de charge et, dans la plupart des cas, les &eacute;conomies de c&acirc;blage et de main d&rsquo;&oelig;uvre sont plus importantes que le co&ucirc;t du composant lui-m&ecirc;me.<br \/>\nSelon Robert Dobkin, vice pr&eacute;sident et charg&eacute; des technologies de mise en &oelig;uvre pour Linear Technology, &quot;le LT6110 est un composant unique pour alimentation, donnant un nouvel espace de libert&eacute; aux concepteurs de syst&egrave;mes.
