La fonctionnalit&eacute; d&rsquo;arr&ecirc;t du mat&eacute;riel donne toute latitude aux d&eacute;veloppeurs pour impl&eacute;menter des fonctions plus complexes sans pour autant induire un surco&ucirc;t logiciel, tandis que la r&eacute;initialisation BOR permet, en cas de d&eacute;tection d&rsquo;un d&eacute;faut d&rsquo;alimentation du syst&egrave;me, de r&eacute;initialiser le microcontr&ocirc;leur pour &eacute;viter tout endommagement de la m&eacute;moire. Les deux circuits sont dot&eacute;s d&rsquo;une m&eacute;moire Flash auto-programmable en lecture et en &eacute;criture qui permet une utilisation intensive de l&rsquo;EEPROM de donn&eacute;es. Ces caract&eacute;ristiques essentielles, outre l&rsquo;int&eacute;gration de p&eacute;riph&eacute;riques analogiques couramment utilis&eacute;s, font de ces MCU des composants adapt&eacute;s &agrave; de nombreux produits de d&eacute;tection &eacute;conomiques, tels que les d&eacute;tecteurs de fum&eacute;e et de monoxyde de carbone, les capteurs photosensibles et les modules automobiles avec interface &agrave; capteur.<br \/>\nLe PIC16F527 est disponible en bo&icirc;tiers PDIP, SOIC, SSOP et QFN &agrave; 20 broches, alors que le PIC16F570 sera tr&egrave;s prochainement propos&eacute; dans les m&ecirc;mes types de bo&icirc;tiers mais &agrave; 28 broches.
