Ce niveau de performances est atteint gr&acirc;ce &agrave; l&rsquo;utilisation du processeur 32-bits ARM7 et d&rsquo;un microprogramme propri&eacute;taire pour contr&ocirc;ler toutes les fonctions critiques du module. Ce dernier dispose d&rsquo;une interface num&eacute;rique &agrave; brochage ABC acceptant le standard PMBus pour la gestion num&eacute;rique de la puissance dans les syst&egrave;mes utilis&eacute;s dans des applications comme le MicroTCA, les serveurs, le stockage, le mat&eacute;riel de r&eacute;seau, la POE, les r&eacute;seaux sans fil, les mat&eacute;riels industriels et de test.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;interface PMBus facilite les caract&eacute;ristiques de gestion de la puissance qui n&rsquo;&eacute;taient pas disponibles auparavant sur les convertisseurs DC-DC isol&eacute;s modulaires 1\/4 de brique. En branchant ce circuit sur le bus I2C du syst&egrave;me, il est possible de contr&ocirc;ler les tensions et les intensit&eacute;s d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e et de sortie (Vin, Iin, Vout, Iout) ainsi que la temp&eacute;rature de fonctionnement. Le PMBus peut servir &agrave; mettre des signaux d&rsquo;avertissement pour la temp&eacute;rature, Vin, Vout, Iout et &agrave; permettre la personnalisation des param&egrave;tres comme, entre autres, des seuils de d&eacute;clenchement on\/off, une protection de la tension de sortie, une limite d&rsquo;intensit&eacute; en sortie et des caract&eacute;ristiques de progressivit&eacute;.<br \/>\nPour l&rsquo;aider &agrave; concevoir un syst&egrave;me d&rsquo;alimentation de pointe, l&rsquo;ing&eacute;nieur dispose d&rsquo;une interface graphique GUI et de cartes d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation.
