Avec une alimentation d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de 4 V &agrave; 14 V, il g&eacute;n&egrave;re une tension de sortie r&eacute;gul&eacute;e, r&eacute;glable de 0,6 V &agrave; 5,5 V, ce qui le rend bien adapt&eacute; pour les applications des syst&egrave;mes des t&eacute;l&eacute;communications, de stockage de donn&eacute;es, industriels et m&eacute;dicaux.<br \/>\nCe circuit fonctionne &agrave; une fr&eacute;quence de commutation fixe de 1 MHz typique, avec une tr&egrave;s faible ondulation de la tension de sortie de 5 mV &agrave; pleine charge, lors d&rsquo;une conversion d&rsquo;une tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e de 12 V en une tension de sortie de 1,5 V. Avec l&rsquo;ajout d&rsquo;une tension de polarisation externe sup&eacute;rieure &agrave; 4 V, il peut travailler &agrave; partir d&rsquo;une tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e aussi basse que 2,375 V. Des fonctions de protection en cas de surintensit&eacute; et de d&eacute;passement de temp&eacute;rature sont &eacute;galement incluses dans le r&eacute;gulateur.
