Une fonction de limitation du courant de sortie, programmable par l&rsquo;utilisateur, permet de fixer l&rsquo;intensit&eacute; de sortie de 100 mA &agrave; 400 mA selon les demandes de l&rsquo;application. Ce circuit peut &ecirc;tre programm&eacute; pour des tensions de sortie fixes de 1,8 V, 3,3 V ou 5 V mais il est &eacute;galement possible d&rsquo;utiliser un diviseur r&eacute;sistif pour programmer des tensions de sortie de 0,8 V jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; la tension d&rsquo;entr&eacute;e Vin. Son bo&icirc;tier MSOP &agrave; performances thermiques renforc&eacute;es pr&eacute;sente l&rsquo;espacement suppl&eacute;mentaire des broches n&eacute;cessaire aux entr&eacute;es de forte tension. La combinaison de ce bo&icirc;tier et de seulement quatre petits composants externes permet d&rsquo;obtenir une r&eacute;alisation d&rsquo;empreinte tr&egrave;s compacte pour une grande vari&eacute;t&eacute; d&rsquo;applications.<br \/>\nCe composant ne consomme que 12 &micro;A &agrave; vide tout en maintenant la r&eacute;gulation de la tension de sortie, ce qui le rend appropri&eacute; pour les applications aliment&eacute;es en permanence sur batterie. En raison de la stabilit&eacute; inh&eacute;rente du convertisseur, aucune compensation ext&eacute;rieure n&rsquo;est requise, ce qui simplifie la conception et r&eacute;duit l&rsquo;empreinte de la r&eacute;alisation.<br \/>\nLes caract&eacute;ristiques suppl&eacute;mentaires comprennent une r&eacute;f&eacute;rence de tension pr&eacute;cise de 0,8 V &agrave; &plusmn;1% pour la boucle de r&eacute;gulation, un d&eacute;marrage progressif interne ou externe et une sortie du comparateur de boucle qui autorise la mise en parall&egrave;le de plusieurs convertisseurs pour des applications de plus forte intensit&eacute;.<br \/>\nLe mod&egrave;le de base indice E se compl&egrave;te d&rsquo;une version industrielle indice I garantie pour fonctionner avec une temp&eacute;rature de jonction de -40 &deg;C &agrave; 125 &deg;C et d&rsquo;une version pour l&rsquo;automobile indice H sp&eacute;cifi&eacute;e de -40 &deg;C &agrave; 150 &deg;C.
